Works Cited is a list of sources (books, websites, videos, pictures, or people) you paraphrased or quoted in your essay or other work sometimes called a bibliography or reference list.

Plagiarism is copying, paraphrasing, or quoting another person’s ideas, work, or expressions and not giving credit to the source.

MLA & APA Citation Style Guides are the way your works cited page, in-text quotes, and even your title page are laid out. Spaces, indents, and brackets matter!

Print MLA and APA reference sources are located in the library for student use.  If you have any questions or concerns please come to the library!

PLEASE NOTE: APA or MLA citation style are most commonly used.
Chicago is another citation style that can be used.
Check with your teacher to make sure you are using the right citation style.
